Šalata 10, the main building of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, was one of the facilities significantly affected by the earthquake that hit Zagreb on March 22, 2020. The 5.5 ML magnitude quake caused extensive structural damage, leading to a comprehensive reconstruction and renovation process.

The restoration of Šalata 10 was a complex and challenging endeavor that required coordinated efforts from government bodies, contractors, engineers, and the academic community. Despite the demanding circumstances, the faculty continued its educational and scientific work, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
